先日お知らせした、とちぎテレビさん出演。
I was on the local TV show as I informed last time. 

慣れていないことなので、とても緊張しました。　終わってからも、見ていてくれた友人や知人、お客様から沢山のメッセージを頂きました。　励みになりました、ありがとうございます。
I was really nervous since I'm not used to such a thing. After that, I got many messages from friends, customers, and people who I know.  It was a great encouragement for me. Thank you so much.

父が母に、”あいつ、テレビなんか出たら、いい気になって鼻がふくらんじゃうじゃないか？”　と言っていたそうです（笑）　まったく・・。　これで店が大繁盛でもして大金持ちにでもなればいい気になりますよ。たぶんね、そうなりたいけど。。（笑）いい気になれるよう、こつこつと頑張ろうと思います。
I heard that my dad said to mom that, "She would get all smug and be full of herself since getting on TV show". haha. Whatever he says, I could be a pleased with myself if I would be rich by success with my gallery! Some day...I will do my best toiling  to make a living for myself.fuuumm.

でも今回の体験はとても勉強になりました。　あれだけの緊張症。自分の結婚式の時なんか、入場直前に具合が悪くなるほどの私。。　
でしたが、今回は思考を変えて・・・。
 
”自分のため”ではなく、”人のため”　と思うようにしてみました。

よく母が”自分のために・・と思うと大変だけれど、誰かのために・・っと行動すると、頑張れるし、事もうまく運ぶ”と言います。

But this time is good experience for me to learn myself. I'm easily strained. For example, when it was our wedding party, I got sick when starting to walking into the party hall.
But, this time, I changed how I thought. I was thinking about "I do for someone else instead of for me."

Sometimes my mother says, "If you think and do for just yourself, things would be tough, but if you think and do for someone around you, you can do your best and things go well"


なので私も、自分の紹介というよりは、今回は県外の作家さんで、まだ栃木にファンを沢山お持ちではない作家さんの紹介のために・・・頑張ろう”と思ったら、前に進めました。　
So,  I thought that way of my thinking to do for artists who I have exhibition from outside of this prefecture and there is not so much fun in this prefecture yet, so I wanted to introduce them on local TV. That thought made me step forward.  


当日は生放送でしたので、慣れない所に行く私と一緒にだんな様、心配してついて来てくれた叔母、叔父も本番中、スタジオの中に居てくれました。　でも、どぎまぎしている私を前に、カメラの向こう側では、叔父が 居眠りしていました。。。おかげで笑えました。良い経験に感謝。
On that day it was live TV. My husband came with me and my uncle and aunt, too, because they were concerned for me. They were in the studio while on the air. But, my uncle fell asleep on the other side of camera in front of me while I got stage fright. It made me smile.

今日は友人のイラストレーター、ダイちゃんの結婚式。
私も含め、ダイちゃん達を見守ってきた人が集まりました。
Today was a wedding party for my friends Dai & Yo-chan. (Dai is an illustrator)
There were people gathered who have warmly watched over them including me.

彼達の乗り越えてきた壁の高さを知っていた分、私達の感動もいっぱい。二人共、幸せをかみしめるような笑顔でした。
We were touched deeply since we know how many high hurdles they had to overcome. So, they seem to have more reason to rejoice and smile.

パーティーも二人らしいアイデア満載。ハロウィンが近いこともあり、気分いっぱいの雰囲気です。
ダイちゃんの作品も会場の至るところに。。
The party idea was very much like them. Halloween is coming soon so, it was full of atmosphere for it.

ある人のお祝いのメッセージの中で言っていました。
’あなた達を育ててくれた親に感謝し、支えてくれる周囲の人に感謝しなさい。そして特別なこなとはしなくていい、ただ、まっすぐ前を向いて進みなさい’と。
Someone told them in a speech, 'Thanks to your parents, thanks to people around you. And you don't have to do anything special, just step forward straightly.'

花嫁ヨッちゃんの色ドレスは、ダイちゃんのお母さんハルさんの手作り。
実は昨年私のウェディングドレスも世界で一つだけのものにしてくれた、頼れる服飾魔術師です（笑）
なんと引き出物には、ダイちゃんイラストブランド？！タグ付きタオルでした。ウレシ。
The dress Yo-chan was wearing was made by Dai's mum Harue.
Actually, Harue made my wedding dress last year also. The wedding dress becomes the only one special in the world for me. So I can call her a clothing magician!!
Also the presents for guest from them was a towel which has a 'Dai illustrated special tag' on it.

それにしても最後の挨拶でダイちゃん、
’今日は私達のハロウィンパーティーにお越しいただき、ありがとうございました・・’って。。まじめな顔していました。
緊張してたのか、わざとか・・・（笑）
でも、あたたかな、オリジナリティー溢れる素敵なパーティーでしたよ。
One thing I noticed in the his welcome speech at last.
"Thank you for coming to our 'Halloween party'......
I don't know, was it his joke? Or was he just nervous? Anyway, it was a warm and unique party.
We enjoyed a lot.

今回私は、ドレスコードが’平服で・・’とのことだったので、着物は少しカジュアルめに。
秋色を思わせるコーディネートで大島紬にしてみました。
会場のハロウィンかぼちゃとかぶりましたが・・。いいよね。。
This time, the dress code was informal. So I wore a casual type kimono.
Coordinated with Oshima-tsumugi in autumn color.
It matched with the Jack-o'-Lanterns in the hall........ is it nice?

先日は従弟の結婚式。幸せいっぱいの一日を過ごしてきました。
挙式は昨年自分達の結婚式を執り行った日光東照宮。初夏の東照宮はしっとりした湿度に時々の涼しい風が心地よく、また境内は神聖な空気が漂います。
昨年秋に挙げた自分達の式の思い出と重なりながらも、従弟のターちゃんの式を見守らせていただきました。
I went to a wedding ceremony for my cousin Tadashi and spent a heartfelt day.
The place is 'Nikko Tosho-gu shrine' where we also had our wedding ceremony last year. This early summer Toshogu was moist with dew humidity and sometimes having deliciously cool breezes. There are sacred moments inside the precincts of a shrine. We watched the ceremony, and I saw myself in the ceremony because my wedding memory was overlapped.

披露宴は金谷ホテル。実は私も昨年ここでの披露宴を最初に考えたのですが、人数の都合で諦め。でも！た～ちゃん達がその夢を叶えてくれました。金谷ホテルは日本で現存、営業している最古のホテル。歴史ある由緒あるホテルです。ヘレンケラー、アインシュタインなど、各国の歴史的偉人が宿泊所として利用したことも有名です。身内とごく近い友人のみの和やかな結婚式。小さい頃にほぼ毎日一緒に遊んだタ～ちゃんのかわいい思い出が走馬灯のように浮かびました。
今は、真っ直ぐな、凛とした心を持つ、優しい女性、リョウちゃんを花嫁に迎える、頼りになる、優しい男性になりました。
A reception following the ceremony was held at Kanaya-hotel. Actually, when I was planning my wedding reception party, I chose this hotel at first but I had to give up because of the number of people, so Tadashi made my dreams come true. Kanaya-hotel is one of the oldest remaining and they are still in business in Japan with a long and distinguished history.
They have guest records of famous figures including Helen Keller, Einstein, and Lindbergh.
The reception was held with a small number of the bride and groom's family and closest friends, providing a relaxed atmosphere.
I and my cousin Tadashi spent so much time together when we were children. I see his sweet childhood memories flashing in front of me. Now he has grown up as a man who is dependable and kind and he got a beautiful bride who has a straight mind and kindness.

ドラマーでもあるターちゃん、しっかり腕前も披露してくれましたよ。羽織でドラムを叩く姿はなかなか見れないですね。私も着物なのに、踊っちゃいました。（彼は私の披露宴でもそのドラムを叩いてくれていましたね）
He is a drummer so he showed his great drum playing, while wearing kimono!! I never seen before that drummer playing wearing kimono!! I was so excited by his play and dance! Even wearing kimono! (He played drums in my wedding party, too.)

結婚式っていいですね。花婿・花嫁のお互いへの愛、そして周りの人達から、その二人への愛をもみることができます。
既にカップルの人達は、再度自分達の愛を振り返り、これから結婚を待つ人は素敵な手本を見ることができる。
皆が愛でつながりますように・・
I always enjoy to present wedding parties. I see the brides and grooms love and also people's love for them. People who already are in a relationship are looking back at their love themselves, and people who are waiting for marriage can see sweet examples. I hope people can be connected with love.

さて、今回の着物は、爽やかなグリーン色の絞りの単（ひとえ）の着物に、つづれの帯です。初々しい二人へのかわいい愛情をこめて、襟元はやわらかいピンクで。　落ち着いた雰囲気でマダムに挑戦！でも可愛さも残したい・・と、髪飾りにマリモみたいな花’グリーントリュフ’を挿してみました。
ある人は’頭にイガ栗のせてんの・・？だって。。(￣Θ￣;)　　　
そんな愚問は聞き流しておきました。。マダム（大人）なMeです。　　火曜日で美容室がお休みのため、自分でセットです。３０００円浮きましたね。　
やっぱり着物って好き！
And this time, I wore kimono again, a wore fresh green colored single type kimono with kimono belt. And I used a pale pink color on my neckband to charge and show my love to the sweet bride and groom. Try to be a madam with sedate kimono! Otherwise, I wanted to have something pretty on my hair so I found a pretty green furry ball in a flower shop called a 'green truffle', it is just like 'spherical moss'. I like it!
But someone asked me, 'Did you put a chestnut on your head?'
I let such nonsense question pass!! mmmmm(￣Θ￣;)Haha

But I still love kimono!

先日健康食品の店で美味しい食材を見つけました。
Hemp seeds　麻の実ナッツ　です（サイトを見つけたので添付してみました。）　以前より麻の実は栄養価が高い・・とは聞いていたものの、七味唐辛子に入っているものしか見た時がなかったのでナッツとしてはまだ試したことがありませんでした。
This week, I found a delicious food in a health food store.
It is Hemp seed nuts. I know that hemp seeds have high quality nutrition. Also, we have hemp seeds in Japanese red pepper seasoning. But I've never seen and tried seed nut stuff.

ナッツ好きの我が家。早速買って試してみました。
アイスやスープにふりかけるのもよいそうですが、この日はサラダに。ナッツ系のしっかりした味が気に入りました！　少しかけただけでも、ちゃあんと主張しています。これって、もしかしてあの生カシューナッツみたいに美味しいミルクもとれるんじゃないかな～～。
これは手軽に料理に使えてオススメ！！
I and my husband like nuts very much so we got it when we found in the shop.
Instructions said that we can sprinkle on ice cream or soup, too.
This time we put on salad. It has a definite taste even if using a little. I wonder if good quality milk can be squeezed from them like cashew nuts.
Anyway, this can be useful for your kitchen, you might like it!

ちなみにこのパッケージにも見える、この六角形を基礎にした幾何学模様。これって、むか～～しからの日本の着物などにみられる模様です。麻の葉をモチーフにしている「麻の葉模様」と聞いたことがあります。麻の葉には災いを防ぐ魔よけの意味を持っていたそうで、平安時代には仏像の装飾や工芸品にも使われていたそうです。
そう、それだけ麻って、昔から日本人の生活の中に密着し、重宝されていたものだったようです。　
By the way, I found an image on the package with a typical Japanese kimono pattern. It is the motif of Hemp so it is called 'Hemp leave pattern'. Ancient people, they think that hemp leaves ward off evil spirits for avoiding from harm. So in the Heian period, people used for decoration for Buddhist statues or craft-work.
So, a long time ago, hemp was appreciated by people in their daily life in Japan.

先日２日は職場でお世話になっているサラサラの結婚式に。サラサラくん、エエ子なんですよ。一緒に２輪の仕事していたころは、いろいろなこと教えてもらいました。ちんぷんかんぷんな顔している私に、電波障害の試験法やら、バイクの整備・・。プライベートではオフロードバイクの乗り方まで。よくぞ根気強く耐えながら教えてくれた。
2nd of May, I went to a wedding reception for my friend Sarasara. He is a nice guy. He taught me many things when we worked together in the motorcycle division. He taught about the test regulations for electromagnetic compatibility, how to maintain a motorcycle and how to ride etc, even though it was all Greek to me. I think he must have tried hard...hahaha

そんなサラサラの結婚式、あ～～～～～～ええもん見せてもらった！！最高の笑顔。やっぱりいいですね。結婚式って。二人の幸せそうな顔みて、私も幸せ気分にどっぷり浸ってきました。サラサラはお皿洗いとゴミ出しを約束し、奥様は毎朝の朝食用パンを手作りすることを約束。。　お二人とも、頑張ってください。。。
いいね、そういう約束。Ｍｅもすればよかったよ・・・
あっ、でもウチはお皿洗いに、ゴミ出し、洗濯物干しはメインでお願いしていますね。お茶を煎れるのと、スーパー買い物も・・・最近は割合的には彼に。　夫婦協力あるのみ。新妻よ、最初が肝心だ。相手の項目を上手に増やしてゆこうぞ。。
これだけ書いてるとまるでＭｅがナマケモノ猿のように聞こえてしまいますが、もちろんやってますよぉ。カワイイ新妻。たぶんね。ﾑﾌｯ
About the wedding, it was wonderful. I enjoyed it a lot. Very best smile. In the wedding, I soaked up the happy feeling since I saw their happy faces. He swore to wash dishes and take the trash out. The wife made a promise that she will bake bread for his breakfast every morning. It is good to have something to promise for marriage. Actually I should have done!
Oh yeah, but my darling does wash dishes, take trash out, and shop for groceries and make tea. Just give-and-take is necessary for a married couple. Brides, what you need is how it begins. Let's handle making housework items for the other side cleverly.　Wait, it sounds like I am lazy. Doesn't it!?! Of course I am a good cutie wife. Haha..Hopefully...

話戻って結婚式。結婚式といえば、Ｍｅは特別理由がないかぎりは着物で行くようにしています。折角の着る機会だし、招待状の差出人がご両親の名前の場合もあったりで、招待者への敬意を表せる、喜ばれることも多い、会場が華やかになる等、理由は沢山あります。今回は一昨年に祖母に買ってもらった訪問着。普段ピンク色の服は私にとってほとんど着ることのない色なのですが、着物だからこそ選べた色です。今回は一緒に行った方達が男性ばかりで女性がＭｅ１人だったため、ピンクで春の陽気と華やかさを、コバルトブルーの伊達襟や小物で初夏に向けた爽やかな感じをプラスです。やっぱり着物って好き。
Anyway, about the wedding, I always try to wear kimono when I attend a wedding reception unless there is a compelling reason not to. It is a good chance to wear kimono, because sometimes the invitation is from the bride's and groom's parents so I wear kimono to show my respect for those who invited me, and they seem glad to see it. Also it might help to make a fashionable wedding. There are so many reasons.
This time, I wore a kimono which my grandmother got for me 2 years ago. Usually I don't have so many pink color cloths but I choose because of kimono. This time I went to the wedding with some coworkers and I was the only the lady in that group so, I wanted pink to make a nice atmosphere and put blue-green color on the collar for fresh images of early summer. I love kimono!

帰りは一緒に行っていた方に、白金台の素敵なカフェに連れて行ってもらいました。Cafe La Boheme カフェ ラ・ボエム 白金。なんといっても建物がレトロでステキ。気に入りました！次回は外のテラスでのんびりしたいな・・・という感じです。近くに行った際は試してみてね！
On the way back, one of my coworkers took us to a nice cafe in Shirogane-dai inTokyo. It is called Cafe La Boheme . I like their retro-style building. I'd like to have leisurely cafe time on the terrace next time.

そんなこんなで幸せカップルを祝福しながら、自分も幸せオーラを頂いて、着物を着て、ステキカフェ発見の、ハッピーな一日でした。
All told, I heartily congratulated the new couple and got a happy aura from them, wore kimono, found a nice cafe.... It was such a happy day.
