母のギャラリー　シェイ・ケイコでは「松原　秀子さんの　型染版画展」が催されています。
Now in gallery Chez-Keiko, they are having an exhibition for 'Hideko Matsubara print art.'

松原秀子さんの版画・・・多分、最初私と同じ感覚で観に来ていただいた方も多かったのでは。。正直、イメージしていたものが覆されました。
まさに色彩豊かなのです。
松原さんの作品は優しく、絶妙な色使いが見事でした。そこに存在感のある画。観た瞬間に、作品の物語が自分の脳裏に紡ぎ出されていく感覚です。
その優しさ、温かみ、躍動感の融合に、手にとって涙ぐんでいらっしゃった方、小学生のお嬢さんと作品を楽しんでいただいた方もいらっしゃいました。そんな姿を見ることができるのは、とても嬉しいです。
Her print art work・・・Actually, my image of print art has been overturned. I think some people who visit Chez-Keiko this time had the same idea as me about art prints. They are so colorful! Her art work is soft touched and the color is amazingly beautiful. Also, the pictures have presence. I felt the story of print art come through and around in my head.
It is fused compassionate (Tenderness?), personal and uplifting feeling. A lady was one of the customers who was moved to tears, also a daughter and mother were enjoying to see the prints together.
I am so glad to see such people enjoying.
松原さんは本の装丁なども手がけていらっしゃいます。海外向けの本や、宮沢賢治集など、作品は多々。　そのせいかシェイ・ケイコも初日から沢山の松原さんのファンが早速いらっしゃっていただいたようです。
Ms. Matsubara does book-binding work, too. A book is for abroad (English), a story book for Kenji-Miyazawa, and more. So Chez-Keiko had many of her fun visits since the first day of the exhibition.




今回、私が一瞬にして、おとぎ話の世界に引き込まれた作品はこちら。アラビアンナイトのシリーズの１作です。　音楽まで聞こえてきそうでしょ！？
This time, I was attracted into the world of fairy stories in a blink of an eye. One was the series of Arabian Nights stories. Can you hear? Feels like some music from the picture!


ほか沢山の作品で、今シェイ・ケイコはにぎやかです。　７月１８日まで会期。是非らっしゃってください。　
Now Chez-Keiko is a cheerful atmosphere with many art print works. Please join the party! Open until 18th July.

かぼちゃの種
かぼちゃを料理するとき、捨ててしまっていませんか？
我が家では貴重なスナック。
Pumpkin seeds.
Haven't you thrown pumpkin seeds away when you cook with pumpkin?!
Pumpkin seeds are a golden snack in our house.

キレイに洗って天日干し。
湿度が高いこの時期はいつもより長めに干しておきます。
Wash pumpkin guts from seeds and leave in the sun for a few days.
(Especially this season, I leave them longer than usual because of high humidity in Japan)

フライパンで弱火でじっくり炒って、最後にかるく塩をふってできあがり。
Roast the seeds gently in the frying pan then sprinkle salt on them. That's it!

香ばしい味と、よく噛んで食べれるスナックです。
野外の音楽フェスが好きな彼。夏場の外遊びは、すぐ傷んでしまうため持参する食べ物に気を使いますが、これなら手軽に持ち歩けるし、程よい噛み感がガムいらずです。袋にいれて持たせます。安くて、美味しくて、おまけにミネラルまで摂れるヘルシースナック。　
Good flavor and chewy snack.
My husband likes to go to outdoor music live. But in Japan, we should consider what kind of food you can take with you because food can go bad easily because of high humidity and temperature in this season. This snack is easy to carry in your pocket and sufficiently chewy so you don't need chewing gum. I keep them in a bag. Simple, convenient, yummy, and you can get minerals so it is healthy snack!!!

先日は従弟の結婚式。幸せいっぱいの一日を過ごしてきました。
挙式は昨年自分達の結婚式を執り行った日光東照宮。初夏の東照宮はしっとりした湿度に時々の涼しい風が心地よく、また境内は神聖な空気が漂います。
昨年秋に挙げた自分達の式の思い出と重なりながらも、従弟のターちゃんの式を見守らせていただきました。
I went to a wedding ceremony for my cousin Tadashi and spent a heartfelt day.
The place is 'Nikko Tosho-gu shrine' where we also had our wedding ceremony last year. This early summer Toshogu was moist with dew humidity and sometimes having deliciously cool breezes. There are sacred moments inside the precincts of a shrine. We watched the ceremony, and I saw myself in the ceremony because my wedding memory was overlapped.

披露宴は金谷ホテル。実は私も昨年ここでの披露宴を最初に考えたのですが、人数の都合で諦め。でも！た～ちゃん達がその夢を叶えてくれました。金谷ホテルは日本で現存、営業している最古のホテル。歴史ある由緒あるホテルです。ヘレンケラー、アインシュタインなど、各国の歴史的偉人が宿泊所として利用したことも有名です。身内とごく近い友人のみの和やかな結婚式。小さい頃にほぼ毎日一緒に遊んだタ～ちゃんのかわいい思い出が走馬灯のように浮かびました。
今は、真っ直ぐな、凛とした心を持つ、優しい女性、リョウちゃんを花嫁に迎える、頼りになる、優しい男性になりました。
A reception following the ceremony was held at Kanaya-hotel. Actually, when I was planning my wedding reception party, I chose this hotel at first but I had to give up because of the number of people, so Tadashi made my dreams come true. Kanaya-hotel is one of the oldest remaining and they are still in business in Japan with a long and distinguished history.
They have guest records of famous figures including Helen Keller, Einstein, and Lindbergh.
The reception was held with a small number of the bride and groom's family and closest friends, providing a relaxed atmosphere.
I and my cousin Tadashi spent so much time together when we were children. I see his sweet childhood memories flashing in front of me. Now he has grown up as a man who is dependable and kind and he got a beautiful bride who has a straight mind and kindness.

ドラマーでもあるターちゃん、しっかり腕前も披露してくれましたよ。羽織でドラムを叩く姿はなかなか見れないですね。私も着物なのに、踊っちゃいました。（彼は私の披露宴でもそのドラムを叩いてくれていましたね）
He is a drummer so he showed his great drum playing, while wearing kimono!! I never seen before that drummer playing wearing kimono!! I was so excited by his play and dance! Even wearing kimono! (He played drums in my wedding party, too.)

結婚式っていいですね。花婿・花嫁のお互いへの愛、そして周りの人達から、その二人への愛をもみることができます。
既にカップルの人達は、再度自分達の愛を振り返り、これから結婚を待つ人は素敵な手本を見ることができる。
皆が愛でつながりますように・・
I always enjoy to present wedding parties. I see the brides and grooms love and also people's love for them. People who already are in a relationship are looking back at their love themselves, and people who are waiting for marriage can see sweet examples. I hope people can be connected with love.

さて、今回の着物は、爽やかなグリーン色の絞りの単（ひとえ）の着物に、つづれの帯です。初々しい二人へのかわいい愛情をこめて、襟元はやわらかいピンクで。　落ち着いた雰囲気でマダムに挑戦！でも可愛さも残したい・・と、髪飾りにマリモみたいな花’グリーントリュフ’を挿してみました。
ある人は’頭にイガ栗のせてんの・・？だって。。(￣Θ￣;)　　　
そんな愚問は聞き流しておきました。。マダム（大人）なMeです。　　火曜日で美容室がお休みのため、自分でセットです。３０００円浮きましたね。　
やっぱり着物って好き！
And this time, I wore kimono again, a wore fresh green colored single type kimono with kimono belt. And I used a pale pink color on my neckband to charge and show my love to the sweet bride and groom. Try to be a madam with sedate kimono! Otherwise, I wanted to have something pretty on my hair so I found a pretty green furry ball in a flower shop called a 'green truffle', it is just like 'spherical moss'. I like it!
But someone asked me, 'Did you put a chestnut on your head?'
I let such nonsense question pass!! mmmmm(￣Θ￣;)Haha

But I still love kimono!

暑くてムシムシする日が続いています。
食欲の減退も心配です。（勿論私には無縁の問題ですが、彼は未だ暑く、湿度の高い日本の夏は馴染めないようです）
そんな時にさっぱりと。。
We are having hot and humid weather these days in Japan.
I worry about reduction in appetite. (Of course it is an unnecessary worry for me) My husband doesn't get use to hot and humid Japanese summers.
This is a good time to have a cold dish.

野菜たっぷりバンバンジーです。 Vegetable Bang Bang Ji (Chinese cooking)

先日購入した’乾燥小麦グルテン’　ベジタリアン用のお肉の代用として重宝します。今回はこのパッケージに載っていた調理方法を参考に作ってみました。
The other day, I got a package of wheat gluten. It is useful for replacement with meat for vegetarian cooking. This time I found the recipe from the package.

・キャベツ千切り shredded cabbage
・きゅうり千切り shredded cucumber
・トマト　乱切り coarsely cut tomato
・大葉（冷蔵庫にあったので）macrophyll (if you have)
・おろし生姜 grated ginger
・乾燥小麦グルテン wheat gluten
タレ sauce
・ごまペースト　またはタヒニ Sesame paste or Tahini
・酢 Vinegar
・砂糖 Sugar
・醤油　少量　little bit of soy sauce 　

１．野菜とカットしておいて冷蔵庫へ。たれの材料を混ぜておく。
Cut vegetables then leave them in the refrigerator. Mix the ingredients for sauce in a bowl.
２．小麦グルテンをぬるま湯でもどす。やわらかくなったら、２，３度洗い絞りを繰り返して、絞ったものをだし汁に。だし汁を絞ったら、適当な大きさに裂いておく。塩、摩り下ろし生姜をいれて沸騰させたお湯で茹でる。お湯をきって冷ます。
Reconstitute dried wheat gluten, soak in warm water until it softens. Then, wash and squeeze run over 2 or 3 times. Dip in soup stock. Squeeze again. Split off the wheat gluten in to 6 or 7mm. Boil them in hot water with salt and grated ginger. Drain the hot water and cool it down.
３．野菜を盛り付け、グルテンをちらし、タレをかけて出来上がり。
Set out vegetable then put wheat gluten, then put sauce. then your are done!

グルテン、予想していたよりも美味しい！植物性でコレステロールも気になりませんね～～☆
これから活躍してくれそうな食材です。
Wheat gluten is more delicious than I expected. Contains no cholesterol!
It will be a useful foodstuff in our house!

先日の彼のお弁当　
My husband's lunch box last week.

・美味しい豆腐屋さんでがんもを買ってきたので大根と一緒に煮物に。この時期日本は気温と湿度が高くなり、お弁当の傷みが心配なので、煮物やご飯を炊くときに梅干を１，２粒一緒にいれて調理すると、若干もちがよいです。
煮物の味もﾋﾞﾐｮｳにさっぱり感がでて美味しいですよ☆
Steamed ganmo (deep fried soy bean curd) which I got from a tofu specialty shop. I steamed them with Japanese radish.
Especially this season in Japan, there is high humidity and temperature makes food wear out quickly, so I put 1 or 2 of umeboshi (sour pickled plums) when I steam cook or make rice. It makes food last longer.
Tastes good, too.

Toasted potato with curry flavor

Zuchini and mushroom saute

・グリンピース玄米
Green pea brown rice
