今日はハロウィンですね。
Halloween today!!

私は昨夜１日早いハロウィンパーティーに参加して久々踊りまわっていました。
コスチュームは頭から全身青タイツ着てみました。　
画像は・・・お見せしたいところですが、多くの人の名誉に関わってくるかもしれないので（笑）載せてもよいのか迷いつつ、またの機会に。。
旦那様には　’ザッツ　インタ～レスティング......（後無言）'とお言葉を頂き、出掛けてきました。
心の広いお方です。

まっ、彼も子供の頃は骸骨タイツ？着て臨んだようなので、私と大差ないようですが・・
弟と一緒に。しっか りお菓子を集めるバケツ持ってますね～。
Actually, it was one day early but I went to a Halloween party with friends last night and did some long-absent dancing dancing....
I tried to wear blue full-body hose...
Pictures?? ummmmmm, I would like to but also in a muddle if it OK to put on?? So maybe some day.. Haha
My husband's comment was 'That's interesting..' when I left the house.
I know he is a broad-minded person.... He doesn't care if his wife does novelty things...
Well, it seems like he kind of did the same as me... wearing crossbones hose for Halloween costume with his brother. Oh, yah he doesn't forget to hold a candy basket!!

さてさて、そんな心の広い旦那様
今日は午後からなにやらゴソゴソ動きだしましたよ。。
Well, such a broad-minded my sweet husband, seems like he started to do something in the afternoon.

先日手に入れておいた高さ３０ｃｍ以上はある大きなカボチャ。
いったい何するんでしょ。
A pumpkin with over 30cm height which we have been keeping for a while.
What's gonna happen!?!

そう、ジャクランタンです。葉っぱの髪は私が付けてみました。
Yah, that is a jack-o'-lantern!!! I put leaf hair on.

毎年できる年は彫っています。
He carves every year if he has a chance.

子供の頃からお父さんと一緒によく作ったそうです。
He says that he used to carve with his dad when he was a little. That is why he likes to do it.

今年の出来、本人誇らしげです。
He seems to stick his chest out in a proud manner with his work this year.

顔がだいぶデザイン的な・・・・・・
I think this time it seems artistically designed..

今日は今までお世話になった職場、とうとう最終日。
Today was a my last day at work finally....

いちにちじゅ～～～～う。　思い出が頭のかなかを駆け巡り・・・。
Aaaaaaall day, many memories went through my head.



多くの経験をさせてもらいました。
Many experiences there were provided for me.

沢山の男性チームの中で働き（女性扱いされていたかどうかは別ﾃﾞ・・・）
I was a lady among so many male workers. (I don't know that they treated me as a lady? haha)

ここで働かなければ
If I worked there or not....

バイクの免許もとることもなかったでしょう、
I would never have gotten a motorcycle license.

バイクのスパークプラグ交換したり、
エンジンのガスケット交換したり、
電磁両立性の試験することもなかったでしょう。
I would never have done replacement for motorcycle's spark plug.
I would never have done replacement for motorcycle's engine gasket.
I would never have done EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) tests for motorcycles, etc.

翻訳の仕事に悩むこともなかったでしょう。
I would never have experienced difficulties with translation.

そして何より、素敵な沢山の出会いも・・。
And on top of that, I met so many nice people.

最終日、人とお礼の握手する度に、涙こらえてました。
This last day, I was trying not to cry when I shook hands to say thanks every time.

やっぱり最後泣いちゃいました。
Finally, I cried.... with thanks to them.

Wasse! thank you for baking a cake for me!!

ここ数カ月、いや、１年以上か、自分の仕事（職業）について考えることが多々ありました。
だからこそ、今回新しい仕事にチャレンジすることを決めることができたのかもしれません。
These months or for more than 1 year, I have been thinking about my work. That is why I could decide to challenge for a new job.

先日あるバーでオランダ人の友人とそんな話をしていたところ、「仕事への満足度・・」の話になりました。私、考え込んでしまいました。
私は多くの満足を得ることができていたのか。。？
これからの仕事では・・？
やっぱり仕事満足度は１００％であるべき・・・？
The other day I was talking about it with my Dutch friend at a bar. The conversation turned to 'Satisfaction level at work'. It got me thinking.
Could I have a high level of satisfaction at my job?..
How about my new job? Can it be high...?
Should the level of satisfaction be 100%?

そこである人に「仕事の満足度、どれくらい？」と聞いてみたら、こんな答えが。。
The other day, I asked another friend, 'Are you satisfied with your job?'. Then he said...

「仕事の満足度？いつも不満だらけです。不満が無いと進歩しないよね」 'Level of Satisfaction to work? I'm always discontented, but it doesn't advance if there is no dissatisfaction. '

サンキュウゥな答えでした。
不満があっていいんだ！これが成長につながるんだと思ったら、気が楽になりました。
ただ、同じ不満はためずに、いつも新しい不満と向き合っていたいですが・・。
I was glad to hear that answer. That means it's all right to have dissatisfaction. I felt better by thinking that it can help to grow up. But I want to face always new dissatisfaction without aggravating the same discontent...

What the hell am I doing?!!
はい、今日は神奈川県の北里大学医療系研究科の研究室にて、被験者としてボランティアしてきましたよ。
Today, I went to the study room at school of allied health science of Kitasato University in Kanagawa-prefecture to assist as a voluntary human subject.

内容は「運動機能指標および心肺機能指標からみたヨガの効果‐一般健常成人との対比」に関する研究。はい、名前は難しいですが、Ｍｅは言われることをするだけなので。。
The contents are 'The efficacy of Yoga from the point of view of the motor function barometer and the cardiopulmonary function barometer - Counterpoint with the general healthy adults'. Yah, it sounds deceptively difficult, but I just do what I was asked to do..

これはヨガを行うことによって心身に良い影響が表れるいうことを、科学的な研究によって明らかにしていこうという研究の一環です。最終的にはリハビリなどの医療へ積極的に役立てていくことが目的だそうです。
この指針に大いに賛成。私もヨガが心身に大きく影響することは自分でも経験し、感じています。
だからこそ、科学的にも実証する研究に喜んで協力させてもらうことにしました。
These are part of the revelations of scientific study about yoga practice have a favorable influence to human body and mind. And the ultimate purpose is to use aggressively for a physiotherapy course or other medical reason.
I deeply agree with this guideline. I feel myself that human body and mind can be greatly influenced by yoga. Therefore I decided to cooperate with this study to scientifically prove something I appreciate.

北里大学のキャンパスはゆったりとした心地よい雰囲気。どうやら学園祭が近いようです。準備に追われている学生さん達で賑わっています。
Kitasato University campus with a welcoming atmosphere. Looks like some students preparing for the school festival in near future.

今回は心肺運動負荷試験、筋力および呼吸機能の測定。
次回は血液検査などもはいります。
ヨガが沢山の人の心身の健康維持につながりますように。
This time is cardiopulmonary exercise testing and muscle and breathing function measuring.
Next test will include a blood test.
I hope that yoga can help many people to succeed in maintaining their health.

もう少しで、今の職場を離れる私に、友人達が激励会を開いてくれました。
グループの関係や日程もあり、今回の友人は２輪車関係や熊本の友人やプライベートで遊ぶ方達。
I will leave my working place by the end of this month, so my friends had a pep rally party for me for my future. These friends are from motorcycle working team (my previous working team), friends from Kumamoto, and others are BBQ friends from the office

行く前に車の中でいろいろ思い出し。。
Before I go, I was driving my car and remembering many good memories with them.

この皆の笑顔、私の宝物なんです。
These smiling faces are one of my treasures.
For a little more time, I will enjoy the office life with them.

今回はお知らせです。

実家のギャラリー’シェイ・ケイコ’と母が、悠日ギャラリーさん発刊の雑誌’悠日’に載せていただきました。
This time, I post information about my mum & her gallery'Chez Keiko' appearing in a magazine 'Yujitsu' published by 'Yujitsu Gallery'.

’悠日’は今回３号目。オーナーの柏崎さんが県内の至るところから見つけた場所、出会った素敵な人達・・。
だから美味しいレストラン、雰囲気のあるカフェ、アーティストなどなど紹介しています。
写真も多いので、眺めているだけでも楽しい雑誌です。
こだわり派の探訪誌です。
こちらに載せてもらえるのはありがたいことですね。
This is the 3rd issue of 'Yujistu'. The magazine is mainly written by the owner, Mr. Kashiwazaki. He introduces and reports good restaurants, artists, and cafes around Tochigi-prefecture. It is an obsession-style magazine.
You can enjoy many of pictures, too.
I appreciate that my mum's gallery appears in it.

次号くらいからは私もこの雑誌の編集に携わっていく予定です。
I may help them to edit the magazine from the next edition.

素敵な場所、人達を沢山紹介していきたいです。
I'm looking forward to introducing neat spots and great people.

今日は友人のイラストレーター、ダイちゃんの結婚式。
私も含め、ダイちゃん達を見守ってきた人が集まりました。
Today was a wedding party for my friends Dai & Yo-chan. (Dai is an illustrator)
There were people gathered who have warmly watched over them including me.

彼達の乗り越えてきた壁の高さを知っていた分、私達の感動もいっぱい。二人共、幸せをかみしめるような笑顔でした。
We were touched deeply since we know how many high hurdles they had to overcome. So, they seem to have more reason to rejoice and smile.

パーティーも二人らしいアイデア満載。ハロウィンが近いこともあり、気分いっぱいの雰囲気です。
ダイちゃんの作品も会場の至るところに。。
The party idea was very much like them. Halloween is coming soon so, it was full of atmosphere for it.

ある人のお祝いのメッセージの中で言っていました。
’あなた達を育ててくれた親に感謝し、支えてくれる周囲の人に感謝しなさい。そして特別なこなとはしなくていい、ただ、まっすぐ前を向いて進みなさい’と。
Someone told them in a speech, 'Thanks to your parents, thanks to people around you. And you don't have to do anything special, just step forward straightly.'

花嫁ヨッちゃんの色ドレスは、ダイちゃんのお母さんハルさんの手作り。
実は昨年私のウェディングドレスも世界で一つだけのものにしてくれた、頼れる服飾魔術師です（笑）
なんと引き出物には、ダイちゃんイラストブランド？！タグ付きタオルでした。ウレシ。
The dress Yo-chan was wearing was made by Dai's mum Harue.
Actually, Harue made my wedding dress last year also. The wedding dress becomes the only one special in the world for me. So I can call her a clothing magician!!
Also the presents for guest from them was a towel which has a 'Dai illustrated special tag' on it.

それにしても最後の挨拶でダイちゃん、
’今日は私達のハロウィンパーティーにお越しいただき、ありがとうございました・・’って。。まじめな顔していました。
緊張してたのか、わざとか・・・（笑）
でも、あたたかな、オリジナリティー溢れる素敵なパーティーでしたよ。
One thing I noticed in the his welcome speech at last.
"Thank you for coming to our 'Halloween party'......
I don't know, was it his joke? Or was he just nervous? Anyway, it was a warm and unique party.
We enjoyed a lot.

今回私は、ドレスコードが’平服で・・’とのことだったので、着物は少しカジュアルめに。
秋色を思わせるコーディネートで大島紬にしてみました。
会場のハロウィンかぼちゃとかぶりましたが・・。いいよね。。
This time, the dress code was informal. So I wore a casual type kimono.
Coordinated with Oshima-tsumugi in autumn color.
It matched with the Jack-o'-Lanterns in the hall........ is it nice?

先日好評をいただいたペルシャパーティー。
チャコにイラン料理のスーペジョー（スープ）レシピを教えてもらいました。
実はこれ、以前彼女の家に遊びに行った時に、美味しくて何杯お替りしたかわかりません・・・。
とっても簡単なので試してみてね☆　食べるスープ感覚です！
'Persian party was good and we had favorite comment the other day.
I got an Iranian （ Ash-e Joe) soup recipe from my friend Chako.
Actually, when I had this in her house for the first time, I asked her to refill many times since it was very delicious!!
Recipe is simple, so you should try!! It is like a soup you can eat.

押し麦のスープ（スーぺジョー）だいたい 6-8人分
Rolled barley soup (Ash-e Joe) for 6-8 people

Ａ・
・チキンスープもしくはビーフスープ　（1200ｃｃの水に固形スープ２）(ここでは私はベジタリアン用スープストックを使います）
Chicken or beef soup stock (1200cc)
-I use vegetarian soup stock-
　・乾燥押し麦　１カップ　
　　Rolled barley 1cup
　・ニンジン1個（みじん切り）　
Carrot 1 (chopped)
　・玉ねぎ1個（みじん切り）
Onion 1　（chopped)
　・グリーンピース（お好みで彩で青いものなら何でもＯＫ）
Green peas or greens (to provide added color)
　・パセリ又はセロリの葉（お好みで彩）
Parsley or Celery leaves (to provide added color)
　・塩コショウ　
Salt and Pepper
　・トマトジュース 500cc　
Tomato juice 500cc
　・レモン汁
Lemon juice

1 ・
Ａを大きい鍋で煮る。（大麦はくたっとなるまで、水を足しながら2時間ほど）
Put A in to big soup pan and steam them.(simmering the mixture over low heat about for 2hours with continue adding water).

2・
トマトジュースを上記の分量に対しだいたい500ｃｃ位を加た後、お好みでグリンピースやパセリのみじん切りを加え、塩コショウで味を調える。　食べる直前に　お好みでレモンを加えて召し上がれ♪
Add about 500cc tomato juice then add green pears and parsley as you like. To taste with salt and pepper.
Add lemon juice just before eating it.
Enjoy the soup!!

ペルシャといえば・・先日の展示会で気に入っていたキリム２枚。来年も楽しみに。。

これはソフレといって、遊牧民が食事の際に敷いて使う食卓布のキリム
This is call 'Sofreh', used to eat on, the family would seat around the Sofreh Kilim.

先日仕事の帰りに回転寿司屋さんに寄りました。
人気があるらしく、客席はお客で賑わっていました。
お寿司も美味しかったのですが、何より店の店員さんの対応が丁寧で、感じが良いのが印象的でした。
The other day, I stopped by a sushi-restaurant in Utsunomiya. All seats were full of customers. The sushi was good and I noticed that they were good at dealing with people and pleasant serevice.

帰り際に化粧室によると、壁に張り紙が。。それを見て、なんとなく店員さんの応対に納得。
Before I went out of the restaurant, I used the restroom, I found a poster on the wall.
Then I saw something to my liking with staff behavior.

客家（ハッカ）とは、中国漢民族の末裔といわれる人々。多くの指導者や大富豪を排出してきたことで知られています。
Hakka is the people scion of Han people of China. They are known as they have been a source of many millionaires and leaders.

ここ数週間、毎日がパタパタと過ぎています。
正直思ったような食事のスタイルがとれませんでした。
These few weeks, I have had a hustle-bustle lifestyle.
Actually, I couldn't have the dietary lifestyle I want.

週末のレースイベント関係のお仕事ではコンビニや注文のお弁当が続いたり、外食も増えがち、疲れて帰ってそのままベッドで寝てしまったり。
平日は昼間はオフィスでの翻訳・通訳の仕事がたて続けに入り、夕方には疲れた代わりにお酒を楽しみにしていたり。
On some weekends when I have a race event job, I get food from the convenience store, delivery lunch box, and also eat out often or just go straight to bed because I'm tired. On weekdays, my translation and interpretation job in the office has been busy lately so I got tired and just enjoyed having drinks.

そんな時間が続くと、やはり身体や心に訴えられてしまいます。
”新鮮で美味しい野菜が食べたい！”　
気付くと何度もつぶやいていました。
If I spent such a food life, my body complains to my body and mind.
'Get fresh and delicious vegetables!!!!!!!!!!!!'
I find myself murmuring many times.

それを考えると、いかに普段恵まれた食生活を過ごさせてもらっているんだなと。。
When I think about it, I realise that usually I can have good food life.

私達は自分の口にするものを選ぶことができる。
We can choose what we put the food in to our mouths.

野菜が食べたいとき、
果物が食べたいとき、
ご飯やパンを食べたいとき、
甘いものが食べたいとき、
栄養を考えたいとき・・etc.
おまけに私は契約農家や友人の家庭菜園で、農薬の代わりに愛情をいっぱい注いでもらった作物。それらを自分で選択して口にすることができているのです。なんてありがたいことなんでしょう。。
If you want to eat vegetables,
want to eat fruits,
want to eat rice or bread,
want to eat sweets,
want to consider about nutrition of your health, etc.
Also I can get vegetables which was committed with much love instead of pesticide from contracted farmers or my friends house gardens. I have been able to choose myself what I eat.
Thank goodness!

今回は時間の制約（自分の問題）で食することができませんでしたが、そんな私でも、昨日数日ぶりに食べた家ご飯で、選んで食べられることのありがたさを思いました。
今日はアレが食べたい、何が食べたい・・。贅沢ですね。
However, even me, I couldn't have good food life this time because of the time pressures (my ploblem!), after I had home dinner with my husband for the first time in days it reminds me how I can thankfully select my food.
I want to eat this! or that!! Sound like a dainty palate..

世界のどこかでは、毎日目の前に出されたものを’生きるため’だけに食する人も沢山います。
それを思うと自分が置かれている環境と恵みに感謝です。同時にどうしたら皆が安心で美味しい食べ物を得られるようになるのか、考えたいところです。
Somewhere in the world, there are people who eat anything served in front of them just to survive. If I think about that, I am thankful for mercies and my daily situation, and also have to think about how people can have safe and delicious foods in the world.

いよいよ今年のペルシャ・キリム展がシェイ・ケイコにて始まりました。
シャディ・ベア（友人のチャコとチャコママ）が６月にイランへ飛んで、日本に持ち帰ってきたばかりです。今まで何枚もみてきましたが、同じものは１枚もありません。
だからこそ、毎年のこの時期が楽しみなのです。
Finally, The Persian carpet and Kilim exhibition has started at Chez Keiko(mum's gallery).
Shady Bear (my friend Chako and her mother) went to Iran and brought back carpets and rugs.
As far as has been hitherto observed, no two are ever the same. That is why I am so excited to have this season.

デザイン画を元に工房で作られたもの、
遊牧民によって、デザイン画はなく、代々伝わるモチーフを織り込んでいったもの・・　
自分達の生活環境をそのまま絵にして表現して織ったもの。
幸せへの願いを込めてつくったものや、お祈り用、食事の時に敷く専用のもの、住居用テント用・・など様々です。
They are made by workshop based on a design drawings.
Motifs are woven without design drawings.
Woven as a picture expressing their life environment.
Woven with wishes for happiness.
Used for prayer, eating, and tent houses.

そして、この素晴らしい絨緞や織物文化がどうやって繁栄してきたのか？
この絨緞のモチーフ（デザイン）は何を表しているか・・？
何のために？
絨緞のクオリティの違いを見分けるには？
などなど、そんな話をしながら１枚１枚を見ていくのが本当に楽しい。
１枚ごとに絨緞上の世界があるのです。
Also, how such great carpet or textile cultures have built a prosperous world?
What is this motif showing?
What was it for?
How can they tell that carpet's quality differences?...etc. It is so interesting to hear and look at each carpet.
There is a story for each carpet.

そんなおとぎ話を聞いたり、また勉強にもなる話しを楽しみに、今年も初日から沢山の方が絨緞を見に来てくれました。
オープン前から待っていただいた方まで・・。
From starting day, so many customers have come and enjoyed since listening or able to learn. They were waiting before it opened.

正直５年前に始めた頃は、こんなに人気のある展示会になるとは想像もしていませんでした。
ありがたいことです。
I'm thankful. Actually, I wasn't sure that so many people would come to this exhibition when we started this 5years ago.

いらっしゃれる方は、秋の涼しい風とあぜ道も是非楽しみながら来てくださいね。美味しいコーヒーをいれてお待ちしています。私は今週９日（土）、１０日（日）に在朗です。

ペルシャ絨緞＆キリム展、１０月５日ー１０日まで、シェイ・ケイコ
The Persian carpet and Kilim exhibition is being held 5th-10th of October at Chez Keiko.

Moto GP 世界選手権ｼﾘｰｽﾞ第14戦が終了しました。
今回もハラハラドキドキ！大盛り上がりでしたね～。
Moto GP(motorcycle racing world championship)@ Motegi Japan has finished.It was full of nervous excitement and we had so much fun this year, too.


お友達のシノスケさんも観戦に来ていたようです。

It seems my friend Shinoyan also came and enjoyed the race.

そうそう、今回はステキなマダムにお会いしたのでお願いして写真を撮らせてもらいました。

サングラスに着物で観戦していたマダムは、なななんと！帯がニッキー・へイデンNo'６９(ﾁｰﾑ　ﾃﾞｭｶﾃｨﾏﾙﾎﾞﾛ）応援仕様でした。ご自分で作ったそうです。着物もチームカラーの赤！

Oh yeah, I met a neat lady so I took her photo. She was wearing kimono with sunglasses and, well, she was wearing '69 Nicky HAYDEN (Ducati Team)' model kimono belt!! She said that she made it herself. Also kimono was red color for the team image color.

こんな応援ゲストが見られるのは日本独特ですよね！！格好良い日本のマダムを誇りに思います。
観戦を思いっきり楽しもう！！という気持ちが、とってもステキに感じました！
Isn't it great?! It's because of round 14 at Japan race!!! We can see such a cool Japanese guest. I'm proud of such a funky neat Japanese madam. The main thing is to feel with "enjoy oneself as much as possible, to try to have fun and a good time ' is important, I think.

３日間無事お仕事を完了できたのも、周囲の皆さんのおかげです。ありがとうございました☆

I want to thank everyone who worked with and helped me. We did a good job these 3 days.

早朝のドライブも楽しんでいましたよ。眠かったけど。。
Also every early in the morning, I enjoyed driving, too.

さあて・・始まりました。

今日から３日間のMoto GP 世界選手権グランプリ第１４戦@茂木のお仕事。
